Items that are to be scrapped are shredded down to pieces smaller than 2 inches in diameter. This coarse material is then put through a separating process that is 95% automated. The recovered materials include iron, copper, aluminum, plastic, glass, shredded circuit boards, precious metal mix, and other valuable materials. Some of these products are further processed through a network of partner companies and other responsible recyclers.
Electronic items processed by All Green are first evaluated to determine their most valuable, practical, and environmentally safe repurposed or aftermarket function. Electronic items may be disassembled and the components separated for refurbishment, salvage, or scrap as e-waste.
