E-waste disposal is now a growing worldwide concern. Studies show that in the US alone, about 112, 000 laptops and desktop computers are being disposed every day. This adds up to the about 30 to 40 million tons of E-wastes produced each year worldwide.

While many of us do not give much attention to our obsolete electronics like printers, calculators, computers, laptops and telephones, it cannot be denied that it is our responsibility as users to also ensure its proper disposal. There will always be a price to pay for electronic wastes that we discard just anywhere or left to rot in landfills. Its toxic contents can leak into the soil and cause irreparable damage on our environment.

Let us not allow this to happen to the only world that we have. Let us save our world and save our lives in the process. Let us support the Pinole Valley High School Electronics Recycling Fundraiser and donate to them our electronic trashes.
