Newport Beach E-Waste (YMCA)

People who value youth development, healthy living and social responsibility have bonded together to collect our electronic wastes and bring these to a secure recycling facility. Members of the Newport-Mesa family of YMCA are taking a quick break from our hectic schedules to personally receive city residents’ donations. Boot camps and other training sessions can wait until after we complete an even bigger task, which is to save the city that we love from threats of pollution.

We, at the New-Port Mesa family, support environmentalists call on the dangers that improperly discarded E-wastes can cause especially on our waters. Our beach is our life and we are determined to protect it from harm. Newport Beach especially the waters located between the Sta. Ana River and the Newport Pier is the perfect location to surf.  The tip of our Balboa Peninsula is also perfect for body boarding and bodysurfing. But we can lose all these natural gifts if we do not take care of these.

We are asking city residents to find time to support our cause. Come to our e-waste collection even join us and let us save our beaches.  Bring your old gadgets and other electronics.
