Swiss based solar company reached a mile stone in aviation with a 24 hour flight powered only by the rays of the sun.

Even though solar technology is not a viable option for commercial travel, this is yet another achievement in the use of solar energy.

Their next goal is to fly across the Atlantic and in 2013 to fly across the globe without refueling.
