Is Obama doing too little about climate change? According to a recent poll, 35 percent of Americans believe so.

Here are the results from Climate Progress:

“The pollsters had asked respondents ‘if you think Barack Obama is giving too much attention to this issue, too little attention to this issue, or the right amount of attention to this issue.’ Back in January 2010, it was 27% ‘too little’ and 29% ‘too much’ and 37% ‘right amount.’ But now it is 35% ‘too little’ and 22% ‘too much’ and 39% ‘right amount.'”

Although the change may seem small, it is still a significant portion of the population who believes that Obama is doing too little, and the things he is doing isn’t working.

So what are Obama’s long-term climate goals? According to his State of the Union, three of his main goals were:

  • By 2035, 80 percent of America’s energy will come from clean sources.
  • By 2015, have 1 million electric cars on the road.
  • In 25 years, give 80 percent of Americans access to high-speed rail.

Do you think that we’ll meet these goals? Even with recent budget cuts that effectively takes away this year’s high-speed rail funding?
