Irvine E-wastes (Unified School District)

An affluent city located in the Orange County, Irvine was formally incorporated on December 28, 1971. Architect William Pererira prepared the designed the city’s layout which consisted of township (villages) divided by six-lane streets. Each of the townships has similarly designed houses, commercial centers, religious institutions and schools.

The city’s population ballooned to 258, 386 this year, making it the largest city in the continental United States with an Asian American plurality that consist about 45 percent of its current population.

Businesses engaged in the technology and semi-conductor sectors have its main offices based in the city. Several higher level educational institutions that include the University of Southern California, the Pepperdine University and the Concordia University also operate in the city.

Irvine takes pride in its history as a city and in its people. It is only right for city residents to also give back by ensuring the city’s protection from environmental threats. Join the Irvine Unified School District Electronics Recycling Fundraiser to ensure the proper disposal of e-wastes! Our little efforts would already mean a lot. E-Waste EventDo you have old electronics cluttering up your attic or garage? Irvine Unified School District and All Green Electronics Recycling have teamed up to host an event to help you get rid of them responsibly–absolutely free of charge! Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling promises to recycle everything it accepts in North America and to never send electronics to a landfill or overseas for processing. Certified Data Destruction is available for a small fee at all of our events.
