Several groups have organized collection events as an alternative to E-waste disposal in sanitary landfills. Several nonprofit groups, schools, and even cities in the US have taken the lead in E-waste collection and disposal.

We’re organizing a collection event to make sure that the residents of Sta. Ysabel will not have to travel far to dispose their e-wastes.  We believe that having a friendly waste collector nearby will encourage residents to do the right thing, which is to ensure proper E-waste disposal.

But before you dispose your cellular phone, make sure that its data contents including your personal files have been erased for good to also secure your privacy. Several data-erasing tools are now available on the Internet. An option is to do factory reset on your computers or mobile devices.

Bring all of your old electronics, including:

E-Waste EventDo you have old electronics cluttering up your attic or garage? George Washington High School and All Green Electronics Recycling have teamed up to host an event to help you get rid of them responsibly–absolutely free of charge!

Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling promises to recycle everything it accepts in North America and to never send electronics to a landfill or overseas for processing.

George Washington High School is a public high school in the Richmond District of San Francisco. They have teamed up with All Green Electronics Recycling to host this recycling drive to help eliminate e-waste and better our planet.
