Pioneer E-Waste Event

Free Electronics Recycling Collection Event Saturday, April 12, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Pioneer, CA 95666

Every American citizen is faced with a decision on what to do with the E-wastes that accumulate in our homes and offices.  We can either dispose these into our trash bins, which are the more convenient thing to do, or bring these to a trusted recycling facility for proper disposal.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said in a report that only about 25 percent of America’s E-wastes end up in recycling facilities. A bigger chunk of our wastes ends up in landfills posing huge risks to human health and the earth that we live in. But it is not yet too late for the people of Pioneer to learn E-waste recycling.

Imagine this, recycling one million laptops will allow us to save energy that can power 3,657 American homes within a year’s time.  Recycling also allows us to minimize the mining of valuable resources like gold, silver and copper from the earth.

So, what are you waiting for? Let us learn to recycle now.  Pioneer is organizing an E-waste collection event and we should not miss this one.
