Americans who value their lives and their surroundings take interest in green living which means putting more emphasis on environmental conservation in our day to day activities. Green living also means taking responsibility of the electronics that we dispose and making sure that these does not pollute our air, soil and water. It means ensuring that the electronic wastes that we dispose do not end up in junkshops or in landfills. With the constant replacement of our gadgets with the newer models, we also have to already dispose our old ones. Constant replacement results to the accumulation of a very significant quantity of e-wastes.
Each of the 189 households in Potrero is equip with electronics equipment while each of its about 656 residents own a gadget that we use every day. But many of us do not know what to do with our E-wastes. Let us join the Potrero Branch Library Electronics Recycling Fundraiser so we can be guided what to do with our end of life electronics. Potrero Branch Library is partnering with All Green Electronics Recycling, a trusted recycling company in the US, to make sure that our e-wastes are treated with caution.
So, what are we waiting for? Let us join the collection event!
