All Green Electronics Recycling: The Best E-Waste Recycler in the Country

The simplest thing to do with electronics is to just throw them in the garbage bin. You take it out of the station and drop it in the bin—simple but actually illegal. According to reports, between 20 and 50 million tons of electronic products are disposed of every year. Can you imagine if these are dumped in the landfill? These electronic wastes post health hazards. So it’s always best to just call for a Santa Clarita E-Waste Recycling.

E-wastes contain hazardous substances like Brominated Flame Retardants, Cadmium, Lead and Mercury. When e-wastes are dumped in the landfill, these substances can leach out and end up into the groundwater. The groundwater can seep through plants that will eventually end in people’s plates.

According to another report, only about 20 percent of electronic wastes end up in recycling facilities. Some 50 to 80 percent actually end up in China and other developing countries who actually buy second-hand computers and other electronics. Recyclers do this because it’s more profitable for them. Some dumped the e-wastes to these countries which don’t need facilities to dispose of computers—they just burn or throw acid at them.

Bring all of your old electronics, including:

E-Waste EventAll Green Electronics Recycling challenged California schools to collect one million pounds of e-waste for America Recycles Day—and Golden Valley High School was one of the schools that stepped up and accepted the challenge.

Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more.
