We are looking for someone to lead our team of technicians who efficiently and deliberately test, refurbish provide data destruction and prepare items for the highest possible margin when sold. The right person will be motivated to grow into a higher position within our company as well as be an effective communicator and project manager.

General Duties:
- Ensure that the department consistently meets and exceeds its goals, especially as relating to efficiency, throughput, time to ready for sale and quality of tested or refurbished product.
- Provide solid leadership for the department and ensure the team feels like they have a leader they can go to at any time
- Provide training for all new hires and ensure the on-boarding process is smooth and successful
- Provide continuous training for individuals who are struggling at a specific task or area of their job
- Train employees regarding the importance of touch KPI’s. Every employee needs touching/touch KPI’s
- Provide on-going training for the entire team to ensure constant improvement and growth along with ensuring that strengths continue to be strengths and weaknesses are converted to strengths
- Ensure that scheduling for the department is done each month and that all employees know their expected days and times at least 2 weeks in advance. (Although they might change later as our needs change)
- Ensure that all employees are adhering to their schedule
- Send employees home when there is not enough work to be done
- Ensure company and departmental policies are followed by all employees within the department
- Immediately provide Counseling for any employee who breaks company or departmental policy
- Consistently ask yourself how the department could be made to be more efficient and produce better results with fewer resources
- Consistently look at best practices in the industry and outside the industry to learn best practices and better ways of doing what we do
- Consistently look for new technology, new equipment and systems that can help All Green increase margins, output or efficiency
- Ensure that all product for which data is captured is done 100% accurately and that all data is captured in a form that the procurement department and sales department need
- Conduct regular, scheduled quality checks to ensure that all testing and refurbished are done to our standards and that product is in the exact conditions our system data indicates
- Ensure that product testing is done in batches that allow for maximum efficiency and that each individual is held accountable for maintaining certain KPIs. Use a production line mentality
- Setup systems to ensure testing is done to the point that yields the highest margins
- Ensure that product testing is done in batches that allow for maximum accuracy/efficiency and that each individual is held accountable for maintaining certain KPIs
- Refurbishment systems should ensure work is pre-determined to be profitable and all costs incurred during the process are fully documented for the purpose of costing
- Perform only as much work as needed to get the job done
- Ensure that all items coming through the refurbishment department are tracked 100% in order to eliminate the potential for shrinkage
- Keep a watchful eye out for theft
- Perform Other Related Duties As Required
Desired Qualifications:
- MSCE and A+ Certification highly desirable
- Experience installing operating systems required
- Experience repairing PCs, LCDs and Laptops
- Experience working with MY SQL and Excel
- Experience managing teams of 8 or more
- Familiarity with DOD-Level Data Security requirements including DBAN and Secure Erase
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a complex and fast-moving environment
- Organizational skills necessary for success
- Comfortable giving reports and presentations to C-level management
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have good range of motion for pulling and replacing parts
- Manual dexterity for working inside of computers and other electronics
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance
