Is Your Newspaper Printed on Recycled Paper?

Starting this week, The National, a newspaper serving the United Arab Emirates, will be printed on 100 percent recycled paper.

Because no company in the UAE produces a sufficient volume of recycled paper for the National, the paper is currently sourced from overseas. In the future, they hope to be able to source the paper domestically.

The National is not the only paper to do this—in fact, the Washington Post Company and the New York Times Company use post-consumer recycled fiber in their newsprint. They aren’t alone—your paper may do the same.

Check out your local paper’s website to see if they use recycled content in their newsprint and let us know in the comments below!
