Tropicana Uses Oranges to Power Billboard

Many of us view oranges as a form of energy for humans, but could it go beyond that?

Tropicana recently took things to a whole new level by creating an electric billboard powered entirely by an electro-chemical reaction that uses oranges as a catalyst.

The billboard itself is entirely organic, built off the grid, and can be moved to any area, regardless of electricity hook-ups. It even comes with a video that explains how oranges can be used to generate electricity.

Okay, so you probably won’t be able to replace your gasoline with orange juice any time soon, but we still have to applaud Tropicana for their effort and creativity.
